I'm going to start this off with the latest in-game footage released recently. Game is going to be EPIC! I wonder how they're going to integrate clans/guilds?....

The environment and characters look amazing. But there is something about the gameplay that looks clunky. I prefer 3rd person view as opposed to 1st person though so that could be it. When I watched some of the video again it seemed like the camera was zoomed in too far and that might be something that the player preferred. Not too sure.

This looks great, Number 1 game this fall. I would imagine this would at least some kind of friends party system right?

I would imagine this would at least some kind of friends party system right? I'm pretty sure it will. Bungie knows how crucial the ability to play with friends is within a game and how negative the effects can be if they fail to do so. I have my faith in them. |

Destiny is basically Halo: Reach mp with mechanics from "Fus-ro-Dah!" the Game. Basically, if you liked that then you like Destiny. Bungie doesn't ever stray too far from space men shooting aliens.

To me, everyone touts Bungie for being an awesome company, but they've been tweaking and revamping the same game for over a decade now. I like seeing companies vie away from cookie-cutter games/stories, not just reiterate them over and over.

The graphics almost looks like an upgraded combination of Halo and Borderlands That is the exact combination that came to my mind as well. The interface definitely made me think of Borderlands when I saw the little flame icon next to the gun. I look forward to seeing some more trailers. |

Well, without completely dissing it, Destiny looks like it might be fun. Especially for Playstation users. Now they have something closely relating to Halo to play.

It does actually look like Borderlands. And that's far from a diss, borderlands 1/2 are some of the best games of the decade imo.

I spent $20 on BL2 DLC and I stopped playing next day. I only get COD DLC if there are zombies maps. I don't play the multiplayer enough for the other maps to be worth getting, and I could care less about the gun skins and stuff. |
