I remember buying all of the dlc for Black Ops 2. Never felt so stupid about spending money in my life. The only reason most people buy the DLC is because they want to play with their friends who bought the DLC. And if you don't you'll be the one left out because everyone else is playing the new maps. Or if they have a new Zombie Map. |

Destiny looks goooooood! I've been waiting a long time for it to be released. It was meant to be released when Defiance came out a year and a half ago I think. Did anyone play Defiance? Personally I enjoyed it but it became too buggy and people gave up on it.

You're always going to get off topic once people start comparing and contrasting video games. The best way to stay on topic is to simply not compare (which is hardly the case when talking about video games). |

Subscription DLC / Season passes are even more of a ripoff when you combine them with those triple-a titles. I remember Halo 4's season pass was such a joke... well, I consider all of them to be a joke really. I guess I'm getting old because I can't justify spending $15-20 on "map-packs" or any other DLC for that matter. I guess the 'want' is what they're hoping will overwhelm the 'need' in that scenario.

There are games that have shitty mappack dlc and games that have good new content dlc like gtiv, red dead redemption, dragon age ect. That's why I wait till there is a GOTY edition and I can get it for like $20.

There are games that have shitty mappack dlc and games that have good new content dlc like gtiv, red dead redemption, dragon age ect. That's why I wait till there is a GOTY edition and I can get it for like $20. I did that with the first borderlands. |

I spent $20 on BL2 DLC and I stopped playing next day. Did you have a group of people to play with? I found that game only got fun after I found four or five people who I played with pretty regularly. |

I just ordered the goty edition, says it has over $100 in dlc. I got it for $30 shipped. I still have my original borderlands 2 game so I'm gonna just install the DLC then resell it. lol
