I spent $20 on BL2 DLC and I stopped playing next day. Did you have a group of people to play with? I found that game only got fun after I found four or five people who I played with pretty regularly. Yeah, FPS LLama, one of the older members. Then we took on randoms. |

I just ordered the goty edition, says it has over $100 in dlc. I got it for $30 shipped. I still have my original borderlands 2 game so I'm gonna just install the DLC then resell it. lol The DLC was priced at $100+, but it wasn't really worth it. $30 is a good price to pay for the game. |

It takes some of the variety out of the game to browse forums looking for perk/gear combos but it's basically a necessity at that level of difficulty. This is especially true for the Psycho (who I main). There are certain builds that you can get by with in easier modes that will be completely useless in UVHM. You kinda need to have that shit down to a science. |

Weapon damage and shield capacity/health bonus is key. It sounds obvious, but you need to utilize every damage and shield/health bonuses you can get.

Agreed, but even this gets super complicated when you pair it with perks since every class functions differently. You can't really just run in with a big gun and a high capacity shield. For instance, with my Psycho build, health buffs are definitely key but it's actually most efficient when my shields are down. In one build I used to run with I didn't even use a "proper" shield. I also use a lot of specialty weapons which might generally be considered "weaker" that my build is able to take unique advantage of. It's all really specific tech set up to interact in a specific way. |
