If we are going to be fighting other mob families we really need to work on free aim a bit. I will be hosting free aim deathmatches tonight @ 10:00 EST. Keep in mind that we aren't turning into free aim crew but we are looking to hone our abilities to be competitive in the GTA Online Families.

How often does this crew challenge others? Whenever it comes up. When we didn't have the numbers it was actually easier to organize. Of course Im talking about the Xbox side. |

can anyone help me, I totally need a good tutor to teach me how to be a better shot in free aim, ive started joining you guys in D.M recently but I always feel worse than a man short, any tips or advice would be very much appreciated.

A simple tip I could give you would be is to practice on your hip aim rather than your actual LT / L1 aiming. Incase you don't know how this is to hip fire. Slightly hold the trigger you fire with about hallways down and you will hold up your weapon in a less zoomed 3rd person view. Aiming like this rather than your LT zoom, you can now roll, run and gun, and see more of your surroundings on screen all while aiming. Your bullet spread is a also a lot more wide so now you have a better chance at hiting your target's hitbox as opposed to just dying because you aimed a little over his head. I find shooting like this useful in my opinion because in free aim it is hard to keep my cross hairs on someone when aimed with LT. There's other ways I find it helpful like shooting at an incoming vehicle then rolling out of the way. Try it out sometime! |

Do you have any proof there is more spread when "hip firing?" It's not hip firing if you are aiming through the sights, I tested by shooting a wall both ways and spread is exactly the same.

Create a team deathmatch and set your aim preference to Free Aim. Make the deathmatch very simple as it doesn't matter how great it will be. When you test it, you will play against some half decent AI. This is what I did when I was struggling with Free-Aim in the beginning. I would test my matches a couple times before I logged onto online, just to get some confidence. I also found that testing my creations gave me an excellent way to master the mini map, and that is huge when you are playing Captures / Deathmatches.
Aim sensitivity is a massive factor as well, and I recommend trying some different settings to find your comfort zone. It took me a long time to get mine exactly the way I like it.
