can anyone help me, I totally need a good tutor to teach me how to be a better shot in free aim, ive started joining you guys in D.M recently but I always feel worse than a man short, any tips or advice would be very much appreciated.
Create a team deathmatch and set your aim preference to Free Aim. Make the deathmatch very simple as it doesn't matter how great it will be. When you test it, you will play against some half decent AI. This is what I did when I was struggling with Free-Aim in the beginning. I would test my matches a couple times before I logged onto online, just to get some confidence. I also found that testing my creations gave me an excellent way to master the mini map, and that is huge when you are playing Captures / Deathmatches.
Aim sensitivity is a massive factor as well, and I recommend trying some different settings to find your comfort zone. It took me a long time to get mine exactly the way I like it.
Similarly, I practised doing Survivals and some of the tougher missions with waves of AI (Chemical Extraction is a good one).
Other tips are to play more defensive. I don't mean camp one spot, but take cover and peak around the corner. As your peaking your cross hairs pop up and you can just pull the trigger once you have someone in them and you'll pop out and blast them.
Also when you get into a face to face shootout don't panic and worry about rolling around to avoid their shot for now. Just keep your composure and get the sights on them and dont worry about avoiding their shots until you get the hang of it. Unless someone in the lobby is ridiculously good, chances are their first few bullets are going to miss too because they feel the same sense of panic.
Lastly, if you're going to spray bullets all over the place anyways, at least do it at head height. Learn to tap the crosshairs up slightly so as you're going back and forth trying to get him in your sights. That way at least the ones that connect count.
