Each event will begin with a practise session to familiarize yourself with the circuit. No points will be awarded. QUALIFYING HEAT (4 LAPS)The qualifying round will begin with a maximum of 16 racers. This round and all following rounds will count towards your overall season score (explained below). SEMI-FINAL (4 LAPS)The fastest 10 qualifiers will take part in the semi-final. If 10 or less racers took part in qualifiers, all racers will move on to this round. FINAL (5 LAPS)The 6 fastest racers from the semi-final will take part to crown the event winner. SCORINGQUALIFIER

Maximum score for each event is 28 points (10+10+8 if you place first in all rounds). All points in each event will be combined to determine the overall series champion. I thought we needed to get our Sultans out on the road (or off road in this case) more often. For those uninitiated, Rallycross is a form of circuit racing on a track with both dirt and paved sections. I've built 6 tracks that encompass this spirit. None of them are overly technical so that even the casual racer has a bit of a chance, although with some tricky turns thrown in the best racers will definitely shine through. Everyone can participate each week, even if you miss 1 or 2 of the events, but preference for each event will be given to those at the top of the leaderboard in order for them to compete to hold their spot. If we are short racers, all races will still go on as planned and points will still be awarded so that low turnout for one event doesn't affect the overall standings. I may change a few details, nothing major. But if there are any questions or you need clarity on anything, feel free to get at me. |

You can just join in when I load it up. A few people have sent messages on Xbox. Shouldn't be much need to sign up formally, although if someones sends a message letting me know you're interested (which a few people have) I'll make sure to get those people involved.

Originally I wanted to do a Rally Stage format, where you take the total time, but didn't want it to be a Time Trials repetition. I wanted it to be a one race and you're time is your time, but couldn't figure out how to logistically make that work. No contact would have been helpful.
But for these races they'll be full contact (although it should obviously be avoided and race etiquette should be practised).

Race 1 is in the books, thanks to everyone who took part! I've updated the leaderboard above with the results.
Everyone is welcome to participate in the next event (this coming Saturday), but preference will be given to those already on the leaderboard.
And of course if anyone has comments or ideas to improve as we go I'm always willing to hear them.
