Hey there!
I decided to make one post instead of several about the jobs I've created. Each of them need some testing and evaluation, but some are in varying degrees of completion. I would really appreciate honest opinions to what I can do to fix the maps, should you decide to play them at all. I've made a few of each type and I'll give a little description about each one and my evaluation as to how finished they are.
Color Key:
Complete
Needs Testing
Considered for Deletion
My Jobs:
Capture - Escape From L.S. (Link)
This is my most recent Job. I really need it tested and I need opinions. I haven't tested it in a full lobby yet, so I don't know how it is going to work per se, but the idea is to be the first to grab the document and get it all the way down to the end of the bridge. I put lots of barriers and tried to put some traps in there, but I hope it works ok. I based this off of the 'bridge scramble' at the end of Escape From New York. I'm sure some of you will understand my intent with this map.
Team Deathmatch - Grotto Brawl (Link)
Grotto Brawl is a 4 team Team Deathmatch for 16 players. I made this map with melee combat in mind. Obviously this is not the first map to be in 'The Grotto' but I thought if anywhere a big brawl was going to happen at a party that this would be the perfect place for it to take place. Pretty simple and straightforward.
Race - Money Crunchers (Link)
I'm really proud of this race and I feel that it's fairly well balanced for all types of racers. I won't lie; it's can be difficult race, but if you ease off the accelerator it shouldn't be too hard. Now my reasoning behind not putting barriers and indicators in for turns is that I felt that part of the challenge is not being lead to each point and to figure it out for yourself. The first lap is pretty intense, but most seem to pick up the pacing during the second.
I recently added weapons for GTA races and I may need to go back and fix the race to make sure it's a standard class. I also made the starting grid up to 16 players. I feel the race still needs testing, but I consider it complete for now.
Deathmatch - It's raining men... (Link)
I'm considering letting this one go. The idea was to make a deathmatch in which chaos on top of the Maze Bank would rain down destruction on the streets below. The inability to put enough starting points at the top for everyone to spawn there meant that I had to spread the combat out to the ground level. I think this could be a fun deathmatch, but I might consider tying to build platforms at the top so I can add spawn points, much akin to the Sky High Fight deathmatch. If you can test this out and tell me how I could make it better before I delete it altogether I'd appreciate it.
Those are my maps. Again, honest opinions really help and I would appreciate criticism where valid. I will also update the list above should I post more or modify the maps at all. Hopefully you enjoy the maps, but even if you don't, please comment below so I can modify them where needed.
Thanks!
