I don't think there is a UVHM2. I think he's referring to the OP levels? I have Borderlands 2 on PC and I think I have all the DLC with the exception of the Headhunter stuff that came out after I stopped playing.

Everyone says to use slag in UVHM and that each character has a slag ability. Is this true? I can't find any ability with slag in my zer0's tree. Do you unlock new skills?

Sometimes the abilities aren't specific to slag. Any ability that enhances elemental effects in general should cover it, though. [edit] ...although, browsing through his skill tree it doesn't look like zer0 has any perks that buff elemental damage. I don't play zer0 so this might not apply, but my advice would be to find a slag weapon with a high proc rate. Off the top of my head the Slagga and Florentine are both extremely effective at keeping opponents slagged. There are some very useful slag grenades as well.

I meant a skill that actually applies slag, like a slag sword for zer0. I guess not though

This game rocks, never bought any DLC, the base game was so huge by the time I was done, I was done. I swear I thought I was at the end game at least 3 times, but it kept going and going and going... it's the energizer bunny game.

Are you supposed to do like 6 playthroughs to get to level 72?

A single playthrough was enough for Borderlands, I'm not sure with this one. EDIT: My characters are not max level after the latest updates lol

If you only did a single play through your characters were never max level. Basic game max level was 50, which took 2 play throughs.
Unless you meant borderlands 1?

UVHM feels like an mmo raid. Every enemy takes a few min of everyone going balls to the wall crazy.

Are you supposed to do like 6 playthroughs to get to level 72? I think it's setup to be closer to three. You have Normal mode that gets you to about 50, TVHM which I believe is 60 and then UVHM for 72. The Overpower levels are a different story, though. There are eight of those and each of them sort of constitute their own mini playthrough since a lot of people grind for new gear at each OP level they hit.

You sure about that? I thought normal was 1-~30, true was 30-50, and ultimate was 50-72. You finish the first playthrough about 30-35. True mode was in the game when the cap was 50.
