I really think that moving the time slightly earlier might improve it and maybe trying to make it a different theme each week say super one week off road the next and so on. I'd really hate to see the race playlist go but if we tweek it a bit it can survive I know there's enough racers in the crew

Guys, the reason attendance has been low is because I thought this thing had ended, and I'm sure other people did too. Mike said he was no longer doing it and I didn't know someone else had picked it up. We have more people who like races than anything else now, I'm sure people would still join if they knew it was still on. There's defiantly enough racers in the crew |

He didnt feel like putting the effort in if nobody showed up, which is fair. Like I said way earlier, when we're on tonight we can talk about how to tweak it into something (hopefully) better. |

Well, this went fine last night, I don't really think much needs to change all that much. Perhaps we could hold a created DM/Capture playlist following this each night, and make Thursday a content creator testing grounds. I do however think we should start a new thread, and have a different submission method, or at least our own form so that we have access to edit it. I can do that. An earlier time was mentioned though. Would anyone be against bumping this up to 23:30 GMT / 19:30 ET / 16:30 PT? EDIT: I just went ahead and edited the original post and made a new submission form. Steve Phatvibe if you're going to host I can make it so you can edit the spreadsheet if you PM me your gmail account. |

The list is pretty light for tomorrow... Only three races submitted including mine. Anybody else got any new races to add?... I will add 1 more and suggest the others do as well to help fill up the playlist. Was a decent turn out last week...had 8 crew members for the whole list and I think a 9th joined halfway. Would be great to keep that going.
Was the created race playlist reset?... I was going to check and see what I had already submitted but the list starts w a 6/27 submitted race...

Went to checkout the other submissions and noticed one is a 5 race playlist... Not that I wouldn't mind running the playlist sometime... But isn't the created race playlist only 5 races and supposed to be only 1 or 2 races submitted per person as the rules say on the 1st page so others can also add.

I'll have a look in to in a few hours. We'll definitely run some submitted races, not sure yet if as single races or if creating playlists will work again. The basic thought is to have races from various players, sure. Full playlists can't be part of a playlist, of course  Please keep submiting races, as they get a timestamp open for everyone to see I don't feel troubled just picking them off the list until I have full access to the spreadsheet. Offered some days before I was just not very quick to respond on these developements due to real life work. Tomorrow will be running. Next week will get better with pre-racelist work. |

I have a suggestion for the submitting races form. Put in a notes section where people can specify things like "sandking only" or "traffic on" just in case they can't make it.

[more than] enough races have been submitted. THANK YOU for that guys!  I'll be moving my ass to a friend's house now, where I'll be even having a much better internet connection - hopefully that helps with the technical issues I had to face over the last weeks. I think, we can do all races so far submitted. As I just looked it up, the list started with Knapptime's race and ended with Mastrdestroyr's. Let's keep it like that would be my suggestion; we don't do the submitted playlist, of course. It's obvious that a lot of people wanna race. And most of us are holding a big stock of creations or have just discovered their interest in the creator. long story short: I see you in about 2 hours. Everybody welcome, watch out for my invites [because mostly i like to start a crew session shortly before anything else happens] or at least for the race invites, please. If you're not around we're not sorry to replace your race with one of a person who actually showed up. But surely we will miss you and feel sorry that can't be around, of course. LET'S RACE!!! |
