[XBOX] Created Race Playlist (Every Thursday)

Whatever it takes to get members to show up. I personally preferred having races only though because anytime the crew is together it seems like all we do is captures and tdm. It was nice to have something different and was the only reason I would get online during the week. I have several unique captures that are designed to be races but its seems like everyone just wants to shoot and blow things up in captures and tdm.

I agree that an earlier time might help..though not to early, I work during the day m-f and any earlier than 7 PM EST will be tough for me to make. I also agree about other created playlists and have actually mentioned that before. Created race playlist, created capture playlist, created tdm playlist would all be sweet. And then maby members could vote on the best of each category each month/week and create and awesome playlist each month/week with some from each category.

This would be my personal preference.  I am not a huge fan of racing, so that is why I mainly run Captures and Deathmatches. A variety playlist would spice things up and if we had a bunch of people submit 1 or 2 jobs of their choice, I believe it would make for a much more enjoyable evening.  If you guys want to stick to a "race night" than I understand. 

Can't we have both? The race list remains; a new "open job playlist" gets started. just for new creations or people's choice.

If things get voted in to the lists repeatedly by various members, we could even develope a "main playlist" that keeps pushing the favourite jobs in order to maybe get them into R*s focus. And just to have sth that can be run [by hierarchy] apart from events, especially to gather the crew, makin some money, havin some fun. Always being corporate ;-)

But surely I'll follow the crew's lead here :-D

Apparently not. I like the race playlist and always have. But if nobody's attending, nobody's attending. Can't force the crew to participate, and if nobody's showing up it means that it's just not something the majority of the crew are interested in.

Like I said, I have a lots ideas on how to get more people involved, some involve keeping it a race night and some involve combining it with other creations.

This forum was actually my idea with the intent of trying to get more Xbox members involved in racing so our racing events had better participation (I think PS3 race quite a bit as it is). We don't need a TDM/Capture "club" because that's all we do anyways. And I do think that it achieved that. Im not saying racing events dont or cant work. But this specific event has fallen off in the past month, we can let it fade, keep going with 3 or 4 people, or try to change it to appeal to more members. And all opinions and ideas are welcome.
