Someone on the playstation side had a bounty the other night so i sent a message on the phone asking if it was okay if i grabbed the bounty and he answered sure. So that's probably recommended that you ask before. But if you should get killed by a crew member you could always just message and tell him/her that they should ask first. That's probably the best way to get the word around. The best way would be an official post by one of the leaders of the crew. More people will see that quicker than if you message one person at a time. Mm, maybe. That depends on if everybody is active here on the forum and read guidelines and such. But maybe that's one of the reason it is 18+ so people can understand directions and rules. |

I'll bring it up really quickly with everyone and we'll reword the guidelines section to clarify bounties. But perhaps some input from everyone first:
Would you prefer it if people could ask for your bounty, or if the person with the bounty should have to offer it?
I can get annoyed sometimes when people continually ask for my bounties, but have no problem offering my $9000 bounty to someone who needs the money.
Either way we'll clarify the guidelines a bit. I would rather offer my bounty instead of having others ask for it but that is just me. I do think it should be just known that a crew is not to be killed, whether they have a bounty or not. |

That's the reason we make everyone sign up on the forums, that way you're forced to come here at least once, and since the rules are posted in the Application thread you shouldn't miss them. It's the best we can do and seems to work for the most part. |

If someone asks, and I say no it's fine. When they keep asking every few minutes if I've changed my mind is when I get annoyed. I just find someone else and tell them they can kill me just to piss the person annoying me off.

This reminds me, had a crewie who had a bounty and was in a chase send me a message asking if I could invite him to my garage. I did, and he sent me another message once inside my garage saying to kill him and take the bounty once we step outside. I did and it was a 9k bounty. I thanked him and he said 'no probs'. I forgot which crew member that was, as this was just a day after I joined VCCM, so thank you to whoever that was! Sorry for going off-topic but I only just remembered this after reading this thread.

Have wondered about that but forgot to look it up. hold Select, go to Inventory, then Cash, then Share Cash from Last Job. You can only share after you capture a bounty or perform a robbery, I think. |

I just tell people in the crew to hold still. Shoot them. Then give them the cash. "Hold still, this may sting a little." is what I like to say. And the cash sharing thing is correct. You can share from Store Robberies as well as bounties. I think there is a limit, as if I am killing lots of bounties and sharing the cash with a particular person, it goes unavailable after a little bit. So there is likely a limit on this function now, but it does work. |
