Ok. So I didn't know where to post this thread so I put it here.
I just have a couple of questions.
First, I'd like to know, how do I go about gettting promoted? I know I just joined but I want to make an impact immediately and hopefully get some recognition for it.
Do you guys prefer Auto-Aim or Free-Aim? I can play both equally well but play Auto-Aim 'cause it's easier to fill a lobby.
That's all for now...I'm sure I'll have some more questions soon though.

Answer to 1st Question: Just be the best possible member you can be. You'll get what you deserve based on how you conduct yourself while in VCCM. Some advice, the ones who get promoted are most likely the ones who don't expect to be promoted.
Answer to 2nd Question: Free-Aim.

Answer to 2nd Question: Free-Aim. Really? We played auto aim yesterday. Even though it really doesn't matter as long as the whole crew have the same when we play together. Cause when i play on my own i've never played with more than 5 players in a free-aim free roam session and that kinda sucks. Edit: But before you start talking about promotions you should create a introduction thread. Just so we know which console you play on and if you have a mic or not.

Edit: But before you start talking about promotions you should create a introduction thread. Just so we know which console you play on and if you have a mic or not. First off, we played Auto-Aim because GTA keeps switching my preferences back to "Assisted Aim". I find myself always having to switch it back to "Free Aim". But I assure you, Free-Aim is our preference. Secondly, it's okay for him to have questions. It's irrelevant to him creating a thread. However, Tompa is right. You do need to create a thread in the New Member Introduction board. But be sure you follow the exact format everyone else is following. This format can be found here: vccm.freeforums.net/thread/189/read-first-member-info-rulesAlso Tompa, let the staff of the site/crew worry about how the new/potential members are getting themselves settled. It's alright to point someone in the right direction, but telling someone what they ought to be doing is a "no go".

Yeah sorry. It was not meant as an order but as an urging of sorts. Kinda hard getting through what you mean in text but i assure you it was not some kind of order or anything. I just saw that he hadn't created a introduction and thought it would be cool to know if he's on ps3 or 360 And it was not meant to disqualify his questions either. Questions are good. About the switching thing, do you join another members session or are you the first who create one? If you join a session where the creator has auto-aim im pretty sure it will change yours too. Or maybe if you create a session and more auto-aimers join than free-aimers? But does it change when you create a session? Edit: Now when i read it i should've formulated myself differently so it was more as an suggestion than an order. But english is my second language so bare with me

If someone else hosts a job, your aim preference will be changed to match theirs (this way the entire session is using the same aiming style). Usually I'm the one running huge playlists so it should go by my preference. And it is. The problem is that my preference keeps changing. So it's an issue of saving my settings rather than it be any session related issues. Edit: Don't worry man. No harm done. Just giving you some insight.

It sounds strange that the game refuses to save your settings...But i'm sure it will sort itself out Yeah, sorry again. I understand that no one but the ''moderators'' are the ones who are deciding things here. But it was ment, as you wrote, more of an direction but i formulated it a bit weird.

That's how it's supposed to be. I can't tell you how many times I've had auto-aim in free aim TDMs.

There are no "rules" or "guidelines" for being promoted. If you're being an active member and you contribute a lot you will be noticed. And that's just it.

I got bumped up and all I did was play. In this case patience is a virtue. If rank is your goal, play, be loyal, have fun. We promote the ones that deserve it. I can not tell you the play by play.
