Well that is a bit of history learned today. I played soccer for 12 years and even when I was a kid I always thought it was stupid that it wasn't called football. I am comfortable with blaming the British for the alternate name to the sport. I'm always comfortable blaming the British |

For me: America = whole continent, from Anchorage to Ushuaia, more or less. N.America = México, USA and Canada. Central America= Caribbean, South of México (Chiapas and Yucatán), and from Guatemala to Panama. S. America= from Colombia to Argentina. So, I don't get how other Americans let the Americans call themselves the only Americans since all of you are Americans.  But it's ok if it works for you, same for the soccer thing or the automatic cars. Actually America = Canada's shorts |

It's still your fault that you call a sport that is mainly played with the hands and with diamond shape thing (it's not a ball) for football.
You should just call it ''play for 5 seconds until one guy with the diamond shape thing gets crushed by 20 other guys then paus and walk around the field for 2 minutes then do it all again, over and over and over''
