I figured I would start this thread to help with anyone having difficulty migrating over to www.vicegamers.com and as problems arise, I will post the solution here as it comes.
Im also going to throw this here, we would appreciate it if you used a username at least vaguely similar to the ID you use in game. It helps us know who it is we're dealing with on the forums without having to look it up.
Other than that, enjoy the new site! A few of us (and especially Notch) have been working on it for some time now, and we're stoked to finally open it up to you.
- When you first register you will be registered as a "Prospect". Prospects have limited permissions (unable to edit/delete their posts, no signatures, etc). Everyone in VCCM will be grandfathered in as a full fledged member, but we will have to upgrade you manually, and I'll do that as often as possible. But you might be stuck as a prospect for a couple hours, so we just request your patience although most of the sites features will work..
- There is a support forum if you notice any technical glitches, typos and the like. If you spot a problem, we'd appreciate if you posted it there and we will try to fix that.
- When you register be sure to check your spam folder for your confirmation email. They seem to be being marked as spam quite often.
