I am sticking with Vice City. Although, when I look back on the graphics and how state of the art they were at the time I have to laugh. My buddy had an old tube Television and we played so much that the radar and stats were burned into the TV screen forever and could be seen when the TV was off.

You're right, I just assumed since 4 was 3D, it was in the 3D universe. What do they call thee universe of 4 and 5?

That's always been a tough one for me. Vice City definitely feels close to home. But man... does the old San Andreas bring back memories

While 5 is definitely the best GTA so far, nothing could ever replace Vice City. That was the very first GTA game I ever played. I was 13 when it came out. It was a beautiful game with beautiful game play. Tommy has been my favorite character too, even though Trevor has came in close. Come on, guys. GTA is seriously the best!

Could not agree with you more except on the favorite character, I love trevor, he is badass and crazy most importantly indifferent to the immenent consequences that come as a result of his Trevoresness I LOVE THIS GAME

I don't know about you guys, but when III first came out, it blew my mind! If I had to vote on what gave me the best feeling, it was III. For story, it was Vice City. And for gameplay, it was San Andreas. Now with GTA V, they've wrapped it all up into one game! BOOM!

I unfortunately did not have the privilege to play GTA III until after Vice City came out. I probably would've felt the same way about III if I had played it first instead of Vice City, haha.
