I have been trying to figure out a way to prevent multiple people from starting jobs at the same time. After all, we want to play together as a crew and it can be frustrating when people go to run a job only to find out that someone else started a job at the exact same time. This happens most often after we get to freeroam just after running something. The crew gets confused and they are wondering which job they should join. Everybody wants to get some play on their jobs and we are all willing to play each others content, I just wish it could be done in a more organized fashion. It would be cool if there was a queue system that allows us to put our jobs into a temporary playlist while we were online. I have a ton of people's jobs bookmarked and I am in the process of making mini playlists in an attempt to get a bunch of our jobs some play but that still doesn't solve the problem.
Some of you might think that simply speaking up and saying that you are going to run your content would work. There are some nights when that works fine, but I am curious if someone has an idea that is more effective.

Unfortunately, Rockstar hasn't implemented anything to help with this issue. Our best bet is to get everyones input on jobs that they want to run. We take those jobs and make a playlist from them and then schedule a day and time when we're going to run said playlist. With the amount of people we have, it might mean multiple playlists.

Does Xbox have a proprietary chat system? On PS3 we get a crew chat going so if you're in a pub, crew, or invite/ solo lobby you can still participate in a conversation with most of the current online crew members. So someone can say what they are about to launch and give a heads up as to their goal so you know when the invite comes it's official crew business vs just another random mission invite.

Most of the time when someone speaks up about wanting to run a playlist or job is after you have spawned into freeroam and some people go into different lobbies or randoms start shit with crew members. It gets a bit disorganized and communication failure begins.
I'm sure my idea is like others input here but maybe from a different angle.
Possibly you have it one crew member who is part of the hierarchy who is responsible for playlist at a block of time. The playlist are limited to no more then 5 jobs at a time. They include races, deathmatches and captures. Some bookmarked VCCM, some of the better Rockstar, some various other bookmarked.
For example it's just known that between 3-6 pm EST Welly, Chris or Phatvibe run playlists
6-9 pm EST Myself,Finkl,Numberonegun,Vipr or Rbg run playlists
9-12pm EST Notch, Vikoon,Knapptime,Mighty Lemur or Synthinx...I choose those times because it seems that's when I see most of you on.
Maybe not everyday but group playlist days on evenings we feel have the most traffic...Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays? or Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays. Maybe it's just once or twice a week but it's known as a VCCM playlist night.
As a crew member you know that these are playlist nights and times, join if you like or fart around in freeroam if you like.
Much like the Racing nights crew members can send their own premade lists or just single jobs they would like to play within a playlist. Nobody feels left out, we get to play together.
Please feel free to add suggestions, tweaks or just tell me this is just not a good idea.....all are welcome : )

We do but it's limited to 8 people, so we usually use the in-game chat and just set the setting to crew + friends, since when this problem arises there is usually more than 8 people on at once and that's the only way we can chat with everyone.

One thing I want to see on Next Gen consoles is a fucking increase in party size. It's ridiculous that we're still limited to 8 players man.

Not really, more than 8 people trying to talk at once usually sucks.

I like MrDangerous's idea but I will add a twist. Vikoon mentioned that he has a lot of members job creations bookmarked. I think if the crew created a "Playlist Creator" position within the crew that we can submit our jobs to on the forums, (kinda like the Thursday night race thread) then this crew member can create several playlists consisting of jobs created by several different members. These playlist can be published and then bookmarked by members. As certain playlists become popular and well known, after completing a playlist or job, everyone just agree to play one of the created playlists.
You know, after explaining my idea, I get the feeling I may have created a system that could cause more confusion. Nevermind.

^ Haha yeah I think Notch (or maybe it was Vikoon) already tried that. I look forward to mixed playlists.... I seem to get invited to more and more races lately, I miss getting my ass handed to me in crew TDM's

It would help if everybody turned friend spectate on, default is off. That way people can quickly check if friends are already in an activity without switching rooms.
Mixed playlists are great, but i had a hard time finding content from a lot of members. We need more members to link us to their content in the crew content subforum.

Adding a VCCM tag for Social Club lookup is easier.

There is a whole created content page right on the crew social club page. There are 1850+ jobs.

1850 jobs that I can only see 4 of at a time. The sorting system starts with tracks that already have likes and plays, or were just updated. If your looking for content from the same guys that can get their races played, your in luck. If you want anything else, good luck.
