This is mostly for hierarchy people, but goes for all.
After talking with Jacob and a few others in a session today. I thought it would be a good idea if members who are online invite those in their friends list into a text chat room and from there the joined members add their friends and so on. This will allow new members and not so new members mingle with each other and announce or request people to join their jobs,events and playlists. Recently i've sensed that within the crew people tend to stick to the same few crew members in small cliches. With the text chat idea, more people can mingle each other. Also new members should add some or all the reps,lieutenants and Commissioner Kenwood in order to mingle with other members and fill lobbies. Lets keep our lobbies full and host plenty of crew sessions and playlists. Post your ideas and thoughts on the forums , don't be shy we won't bite and we welcome members created content.
Ask if there's a text chat going on, and if not create one and invite everyone!

I'm still a newbie a text chat and I am wondering if we can be playing a game while text chatting at the same time? By the way Sonicsjeff I will try to send you an friend request.

Send away. Yup when your playing game you can use it. When you join the chat you will see each of the participants messages in the top of your screen like when you see friends going offline/online. To join a chat room you should see a message similar to normal messages. Once your in the chat you will have to press the PS button and go to the chat each time to write a message. Hope that helps  |

I always send crew invites first when I play golf, race, missions, etc. Hopefully the text chat will work out though.

I will join the chats and read what I can but nothing is more frustrating then using the Playstations text entry. Going from letter to letter is just....euch...
Especially when I'm playing a game it kills the momentum to keep bringing up the main PS menu. So if I don't seem very chatty that's why.

Its more so that if people are in the chat they can announce any playlists or crew sessions. No need for conversations just general notices really

I won't be on until later today Stellated. I could try Coveted with some folks if interested. I tried it for the first time yesterday since they changed it and I was not aware of one of the bad guys having a rocket launcher. I couldn't tell if one of the guys on the mic was trying to warn me because he kept yelling on the mic forcing me to turn my TV down, but he was being a dick after we wrecked. Wasn't no one from the crew by the way.
