Hello VCCM-XBOX Family!
(PS3 'bandwagon jumpers' very welcome; hit me up if you wanna help to make this become a console crossover)
The first just two ECS' [soon to be renamed just 'early Sunday Gaming'] output of gaming ideas was awesome. Thanks to all involved, now there's a good feeling that these ideas can spread out from sunday to other days of the week.
Early sunday gaming/ECS will remain but also be restructured. More freeroam/actual GTA parttime stuff in the beginning, car show/spectacular snap, driving to and participating in weekly/monthly tournaments member created jobs.
So far it's for ECS, all between 2pm and 6pm EST (11am - 15pm PST / 7pm - 11pm GMT)
But there are so many activities, and all of us wanna do 'something' - please pick favorite activities from belows list and name it, along with your some regular[spare] gaming times :
- FIGHT CLUB
- HIGH NOON / 'GUN CLUB'
- TENNIS (we still need to play semi-finals, guys)
- GOLF
- PARACHUTING
- FLYING
- DIVING
- MEMBER/SELF CREATED CONTEND

Hey guys.
Thanks Steve for putting this together! Last Sunday was great. My favourites are Wellysports (jet long jump was wicked!), Fight Club, Tennis, Parachuting, Flying, and taking pictures. Have not tried High Noon, Diving, Yachting, Arm wrestling or darts yet but up for those too!

One of my favorite activities from Sunday was " Call the mugger on Welly when he is not paying attention " ... But I'll still stick with Golf, Flying and Driving being my favorites.

picking everything up. Totally digging the streaming offer, of course :-D (guess I gonna switch sleeping times completly for a few weeks then lol )
But so far nothing about days or times? I might post some suggestions in a few minutes then, as for a little starter
Most urgent is actually Tennis, though we still need to play the semi-finals and the final for this week. Would it be possible today? Maybe 17:00, 18:00 or 19:00 EST?!?

I'll tell the funny thing that happened with me, chris, and dangerous. You know when you win a TDM it shows the whole team in a line? Well I won the golf then it showed like 8 me in a line haha. My clone army.

Thanks for keeping infos coming. :-D After having just some bad days in my real life, from tonight on I'l be having the time to really work on this for a while. [hopefully not forever  , but at least 3 or 4 months or so] But as I was having a lot of thoughts about this the last days/weeks already, I'd just quickly like to remind everyone to tell me to hold it down, if you feel just anything that gives you a bit of a hard time, alright?!? ;-) Also, once more but now it'l also be for good: Putting up these schedules absolutely doesn't mean to block times or to keep anyone from developing own schedule content or even events. I will even be very happy if anyone puts up a finger and volunteers to host or to create an own event. Always these schedules will remain to me just as an additional possibility what to do with your time playin this great game - if you [and your mates] are up to just other things. . . fair enough! But you know where and when to find people for certain activities. As with a sports club for example. . . .but, as this 'sports club' has such a big variation of activities and the additional challenge of being a worldwide one, my thoughts quickly went even bigger than 'just' spreading two or three dates across the weekdays. . . As it's quite a lot [to discuss], I really don't storm ahead this time [yesterday I just needed the response and some snaps, got both; thx VCCM  ]. ...here we go, as this is a discussion the schedule comes 'stock' - the 'pimpin' comes once it's settled [bit by bit] (all starting times just in EST so far, as it's a lot to write already ) Activities now [only] start with full hours, short activities amongst them will leave time for spontanious ideas. (most activities will actually be a lot shorter than a full hour - I hope that can be fact to let this schedule apear at least the last bit of easy . On June 22nd I'd like to host an ECS special, as it's the 5th one then [which will also be the last regular sunday, that'll go by ECS, after that it's just 'early sunday gaming'; to really keep this ECS thing for sth more special, like this 5th 'sort-of-little-anniversary' I'm planning]. . . more infos very soon. But it's gonna happen within the new hours too, of course. Okay, that's it. I'm well curious if anyone will like anything of it, and what your thoughts are. |

I love all of these ideas.
I do think though that lumping them all together makes it a bit confusing, and some of the ideas you have should be elaborated on a bit. I've taken part in most of these mini games so I understand most of this, but for those who haven't they might be a bit lost.
Mostly I'd love to add some of the new ideas to the calendar, but the way the calendar works we'd need to split the activities into separate threads (it's a bit cumbersome). I'll be online in a bit if you're still on and we can chat about how to streamline this, and format it so that it works for the site.

kool.  and, also: yes, yes and yes I will explain the ideas further, of course - with each and every new thread. Just the other day I wrote in another thread, "it might get a bit thready here" once this whole schedule thing comes to work. Now you say, that's basically how the event calendar works. . . lol Yea, I know it's gonna be quite a bit. But as long as nobody feels this as some sort of overpushing, I'll be happy to do it. With open eyes and ears, for help and advice. I think I might get ahead then and start preparing some first threads, as times and dates still can be changed. I'll be posting the new ECS announcement tomorrow anyway - that's a good oppurtunity to launch the first seperate threads. But I don't feel like creating more photo threads, as things might get lost for the casual viewers that way. Also these activities are definitely crew stuff., clearly to see [now]. Also I still need to speak to bigbadwelly if he's okay with these ideas, hours, etc. - but as mentioned several times before, these are really just the first ideas. Though we tried a lot of it already. (would it be possible to kinda 're-group' some threads and sort of create a subforum, or sub-threads? like in a few weeks, or once it might turns that we're actually pushing around unanswered threads - soon as people really get used to the times of events, and that they're just 'there')?? |
