So this is a place for all non-crew related topics? I just wanted to tell you guys and ask if anyone has experienced this before. This morning when I was walking the dog, a crow (yeah, the bird. The black one (no racism intended )) stood in a tree nearby and screamed at me. I thought nothing out of it, since I've been walking the same area for a long time and I was just like "bitch, this is my road. Quit screaming at me". Then I keep walking, forgetting about the crow. I walk for a good 50 meters until I feel a huge blow in the back of my head, sending me staggering while trying to regain my balance. I raise my head up and there it is. The fucking crow. It followed me for like 100 meters after that until it finally left me be. WTF? I had no idea they would ever attack a human being. Can you believe it? Too bad it didn't go for a second charge. Me & my girlfriends anniversary is coming, and I would have loved to serve her some crow-pie for dessert. For a long time I've hated spiders more than any animals, but I guess crows have taken over their throne now. Therefore, if I'm ever elected to be the King of the World, I would terminate the crows to extinction. In other news, my work in another town is about to end, and I can finally return to GTA Online See you guys soon!

I once saw a baby crow injured on a sidewalk of a pretty busy foot traffic sidewalk. I also saw the mother crow dive bombing everyone trying to pass by the baby crow.'
I crossed the road. Crows are scary as shit.

Tell me about it. The blow didn't hurt that much, altough it did have quite a force, but the general idea of a crow attacking me just freaked me out.

Crows are insanely territorial. I saw a crow attacking a falcon the other day. It flew off as soon as the falcon started smacking the crow with its wings. The crow flew towards the other side of my town. It had followed the falcon across town.

I have to assume that you were too close to the nest and it's young for the crow to attack you. Crows are amazing birds and actually among one of the most intelligent in the world. I have seen videos where crows learn very complex procedures in order to receive food. I don't know who came up with the term for a gathering of crows but for those aren't familiar it is called a "murder." I have always assumed that the term comes from a long, long time ago in more superstitious times.

Crows are very intelligent birds. I've seen a documentary on them where people discovered they actually create and use tools. I constantly see crows harassing eagles up here. Funny story I heard about some crows here. Guy lets his dog outside and the dog kills a baby crow that had fallen to the ground. Afterwards there were at least ten crows hanging around this guys house and every time he let the dog out the birds would attack it. www.buzzfeed.com/meganm15/reasons-why-the-crow-will-be-your-new-favorite-ani-3f0z

So... The crow will tell the rest of his "murder" that it's okay to hit me in the head? And it will tell the same to his offspring? Good. What can a crow do to me? Bump me in the head, kick and peck a little? Better not. While it can mostly make me bleed a little, I can rip it's head off. Maybe then they'll consider re-writing their crow-history about me... I did see the crow again today. It didn't mind me anymore, I guess he learned I'm all talk and no walk

I call bullshit on them telling their friends and family to attack. Humans can't even describe a random person like that.

All animals and insects have a distress call that alerts others of their kind to attack or help them. Our senses are extremely dull when compared to many other species on this planet.

I guess crows are smart... but it didn't have a reason to attack me. It mistook me for a threat, even though I calmly walked away. Attacking me was not smart, however. Most animals fear humans, righteously. Most crows also. Even though a crow might look big when it's diving and attacking, humans are 10 times bigger and stronger. With a little twist, we can break any bird's neck pretty much. I'm not saying I wouldn't be afraid of a crow attacking, I probably would be. But that's just even worse for the crow. When afraid, humans deal even more force with adrenaline flowing and shit Yeah, he looked out for his offspring I guess... but still, a noob move.
