Oh yeah, the bounties. I didn't even think about that. Apparently Rockstar didn't either. Someone on reddit mentioned that the bounties are now red skulls, but I can't get on right now to confirm. Even so, who wants that much fucking red all over the map? I can confirm that bounties are red skulls now. It does seem that Rockstar DID think about that one.

Yeah I thought it'd be a cool feature to show like "oh hey this guys ridding up on me and he's red that means he's probably gonna try and kill me" but with it affecting pedestrians and stupid things like that its just not useful its a good idea but ultimately a flop with how they went about adding it in hopefully they'll update it in a week or so and make it viable.

Bounties were/are (not sure yet) a different shade of red. And red "all over" the map? Come on. Not a big deal. It's not a big deal, just an eyesore.

I did have fun with it so far. Yes, I don't like getting pinged for NPC kills, but the first non-bounty red dot headed my way, I got ready, and sure enough... it was a troller. I'm interested to see how it developed this week. Also, the new poses are fucking hilarious, and I'm glad I now own space for 20 cars.

Finkl Man got himself to 5 stars while we were playing and his blip barely got to pink by the end of it. I think it takes a fair amount of NPC killing to get you to full on red.
I do think it works, but I also think it gives people another reason to be a dick, trying to get to "psycho", and might actually encourage those people to act worse. We'll see how it plays out though.

I was in the Race Creator earlier and was testing a race, when i accidentally hit a pedestrian, and it warned me of my mental state rising. So apparently it counts in the creator as well, which I think is even more stupid, lol.

Something like this could not make any less sense.

Was on last night with Fightin and he purposely worked his character up to full psycho. Then we played clean all night and based on how fast his mental state was going down we figured it will take 20 hours of clean playing to get from full mental to normal.

So you were at 100% mental and dropped to zero in an hour? We were in a private session for three hours and his mental state barely dropped one bar... hmm scanning the R* support forums seems some people are getting a bug where their mental state isn't going down.

Never said I was 100% psycho... maybe it works on a curve. I was only about 1 bar.

I think time in races, missions, ect counts as good time. I blew up a few cars, a dozen people, and after a few races I was back to white.

I'm pretty sure Rockstar is trying to increase player vs player carnage by adding this. Think about it, even though they marketed this (somewhat anyways) as a way to help us to see what type of players are around us more clearly (i.e. trolls, or just plain havoc wreakers) it's altogether not true. Obviously you shouldn't start "going psycho" just because you're defending yourself or running over pedestrians. They would like us to believe there is some real incentive to go after these "psychos" in the form of RP but that's bs as you guys already know. I truly feel like they are just trying to promote sells of those ridiculous shark cards that they try and sell online because if you have freemode lobbies worldwide fighting that much more, users are going to lose money quicker. Speaking as a non-glitcher, this is some really shady shit. Often times when I'm in freemode now, I'm like fuck this, I'll just go passive... unless someone's fucking with my crew members that is.

Some white dot bastard shot me in the face (no provocation), so I chased him down and got him and his friend with a single grenade. Totally worth the half bar of mental. I think the stat, while not particularly useful, is fun. I'm sure the crazy shit they're just now trying to implement will eventually be done better by someone else in the future, but I like the concept. And I like that it's being attempted on GTA V.
