That, sir, may not be an exotic car, but it's a classic roadster most often found in a Classic Car Club. We are not that. Think more ordinary.

It's a little flashy. Remember, if it draws attention or looks interesting you're doing it right, which is wrong for us. ;] Downgrade the paint to a dull hunter green or brown, strip the logo and you've got an entry.

Here's a little backstory I was telling Steve about:
"The theme is really middle-class vehicles without a lot of jazz. Not necessarily poor, but just average. It would meet at a non-descript place where any normal person would go. The joke behind it is that any place is basically a meeting place since you don't really organize a meet, you're just there when you park your car in any normal lot with normal cars.
I guess I should elaborate on the story in my post, but it was really a joke between my wife and I while we were making fun of a "car club" that was meeting at one of our favorite restaurants. They didn't have really special cars, just the new Camaros, but we thought that ridiculous enough because around here everyone has one of those cars. We thought we'd be funny and start our own ridiculous car club full of boring cars that nobody cares about, so that's how it started."
Really, these cars are nothing special. They're not junkers, but they're those forgettable mom cars that you wouldn't be able to point out because of how boring they look. So, really, any car counts as part of the club, just not the ones people would normally put in a club (or haul to the junkyard). They're typical family vehicles without flashy mods or paints (classic paints are a must). If you choose a van, make it a family-style van. If you get an SUV, make sure it doesn't "blang". Station wagons, sedans, and etc. follow similar guidelines. Mind that the mini-class has a following of it's own so I'm going to down-vote the coupes (Issi and Blista).
In any event, we'll have some fun with it regardless. We'll see you on Sunday.
