One night this week, those of us on the PS side of the house need to run some races. Partly for fun, but mostly so the lower leveled guys can unlock race parts. I'm ok with sandbagging it so people can earn gear. People who don't have parts unlocked should go together in teams and do so  Taking the idea from this posts on the "VCCM Crew Car (Sultan RS)" thread, i bring up the suggestion to see if we have enough people. In my case, i kinda need it cause i'm level 40-something and had only won like 20 races. I don't know if we can organize to connect all at once, but a least this can help to know which of us are up to this races. So... we have quorum? |

I will run some races with anybody who needs wins. I have to do some testing on the effects of tires/armor/ect on speed anyway. I already used the airport to make a smooth flat test surface.

That testing left a ton of room for error. I'm sticking to a straight line.

That testing left a ton of room for error. I'm sticking to a straight line. Increased downforce means lower top speed and better cornering abilities, therefore a straight line would not be sufficient in this case. |

Armor for sure has no effect. Carbon bits is debatable but if anything it's negligible. Offroad tires on an offroad vehicle is a different story though.

I'm agree with docolds, the straight line is a fair way to test. The issue with lap test is that is very very VERY unlikely that you do 2 laps exactly the same, leaving room for error. |

And that guy has done that track probably 1000+ times. Straight line test are useless imo.

I wish the car mods weren't unlocked by winning races. I don't think I've ever won one!
