I have a DVD recorder and it never occurred to me to try to record video game play until yesterday. So today I hooked it up to the PS3 to give it a shot... I burnt about a minute and a half of video but the quality just isn't very good. It's not HD but it is video from the PS side of the crew. Is it worth the time to take and edit low quality video? I know it can suck watching other peoples low quality video... But I figured I'd just throw it out there that I can record on the PS side.
EDIT: Here"s the test...

If you already took it why not, just remember you need to use blank dvds right? They are not free.

You know you're ugly when it comes to a group picture and they hand you the camera.

It kinda depends on how low the quality. Maybe post a video on here so we can see exactly how low quality.

I know I'd like to see what the ps3 side does from day to day. I'm sure others would, too.

I couldn't figure out how to get the video onto the computer from the DVD... I know there's some kind of trick to do it. I'll try again later when someone who knows something about computers is around. I'll try to get more recording in tomorrow too.

I used to have netflix back in the days they actually mailed DVDs, ripped every one lol. Was good too I didn't have to watch the movie right then either, could just rip it and send it back.

Nice, that's not too bad at all. Now just get DVD-RW that you can reuse over and over.
