You're not supposed to fight him the first time you see him with the broken hilt lol. You attack him when you get above him on a ledge and can do a plunging attack like half his health. LOL  If anyone is up to that part where you gotta walk under a bridge on the ledge with the dragon tail hanging down, shoot the tail with bow/arrow. It might take 50 arrows but just do it. |

So, I'm guessing Dark Souls is multiplayer? How many at a time?

Kinda, pvp is/was very big in dark souls. Co op is possible also. I think just two people. The cool thing is if someone is just playing solo, someone else could just invade their world. Also as you guy might know the game is redic hard for first timers, players can leave or read little comments or tips and hints from other players.

I'm a first timer at this game and have found that the slow n steady method of gaming works for me. Read all messages, don't run to every next doorway, think of it like a puzzle that takes time.

You must do this, don't listen to the guy it's not the best weapon in the game, not even close. It is the best low level weapon though. Don't upgrade it either.

Nice, btw it really doesn't matter which class you chose or what gift. You can do all the same things depending where you allocate points. For example you could be thief class and be a pyromancer. Master Key is the only good gift and the one you should have chosen.

Just downloaded this because it was free. On a scale from 1-10 how pissed off is this game going to make me?
And I have no idea how multiplayer works but if anyone else is just starting up, come find me and we'll rage quite together.

Most likely 10, more than any game you have ever played before, if you aren't a fast leaner. The game is all about figuring out bosses mechanics, but you have to die 20 times before you figure it out. The game takes like 40-60 hours normally I think but speed runners have done it all in under an hour.
I'm not really sure how co op works but you put down a sign everyone else around your level sees and then can join your world.
I also think co op makes the game MUCH less challenging.
