I was kinda surprised there wasn't a thread for this game series yet. COD has been a big franchise in videogame market for years now, altough I do believe it's popularity is slowly decreasing at the moment. Regardless, I still play COD games frequently. I currently own COD 4, Black Ops and Black Ops 2. I've been thinking of buying Modern Warfare 3 back though, I don't understand why I sold it. It's my favourite COD game (you can propably tell from my YouTube channel lol), altough the fact that it doesn't include Zombies -gamemode brings down it's entertainment value (I get it, Treyarch vs Infinity Ward blah blah) That's why I keep Black Ops games around. I do play multiplayer every once in a while, but I love the Zombies -gamemode. Sit back, slaughter the undead, go high rounds, complete Easter eggs and show the dead men that I FEAR YOU NOT! COD 4? Well... I'm not into this game. Lots of people claim this game to be the best COD, but I just don't see it. Perhaps after zombies and pointstreak system and everything this game just feels so limited to me. But hey, here's my opening for this thread. Any Call of Duty fans out there?  |

First black ops was the nuts! I loved the multiplayer on that one. Domination was the best. Then they went futuristic afterwards and ruined it.

I know what you mean. Black Ops 2 kinda dropped the ball in my opinion. Zombies were good, but I couldn't stick to the multiplayer even for the first DLC to come out.

I'll be watching closely what they do with this next installment. But i'm pretty sure it will be the same rehashed engine on w/ upgraded graphics. Also, am I the only one who absolutely doesn't give a shit about single player?

Admittedly I do get spanked by people that are ridiculously good on there. Problem is the maps get boring too quickly and I won't pay £££ for a few new maps. I still buy everyone but not at launch. I wait til it goes cheaper. |

What single player?  I didn't bother to buy Ghosts. Seemed mediocre, uninteresting, average FPS. I haven't even looked into the next COD. If it seems sweet, I might pick it up. Is it Treyarch's turn? Cheez, I hope there's Zombies again. |

I've never played multiplayer. Actually I have but vs. my friends, never online. Because of that, you may be the smartest man to ever play COD. If you're gonna play multiplayer, play with your friends and mute everyone else. The game is fun but the community SUCKS. |

In my opinion, the only worthy part of the game IS single player. Online is total shit now. Ghosts is a joke...but the single player was damn fun.

The whole numbers-thing and Reznov... very interesting plot. Aside from that, the events of the Single Player of other CODs just LOOK cool, but that's about it. I remember almost nothing of stories of MW series. I remember BO 2 campaign, but it wasn't as good as the first Black Ops. |
